SANAA, March 27 (YPA) – At least four people were killed on Saturday when security forces opened fire on a protest crowd outside a police station in Yangon, Myanmar’s commercial capital.
According to the Myanmar Now Newspaper, at least four people were killed and 10 injured in the incident in n the Dala suburb of the city.
Statements issued by a rights advocacy group and local media on Friday confirmed that Myanmar security forces killed more than 300 people in attempts to crush protests against the February 1st military coup.
“Crimes against humanity are committed on a daily basis,” said the Association for the Assistance of Political Prisoners.
According to the Association, nearly 3,000 individuals have been arrested, charged or sentenced since the coup.
