Saudi Arabia reveals attack targeting Saudi oil port of Ras Tanura

SANAA, March 08 (YPA) – The Saudi authorities admitted on Sunday that one of its oil tank in Ras Tanura port were attacked from the sea, a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Defense.

On the other hand, the Saudi News Agency “SPA” also quoted a Saudi official in the Saudi Ministry of Energy, that the attack on the tanks yards of the port posts a threat to the security and stability of energy supplies in the world, and would have the effects on the security of petroleum exports.

Earlier, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarei, revealed that the Sixth Deterrence Balance operation targeted Aramco oil company in the Ras Tanura port and other military targets in Dammam area.
