LAHJ, March 07 (YPA) – An angry protest rally was held on Sunday in Yemen’s southern province of Lahj because of soaring food prices, according to sources.
The sources affirmed that dozens of protesters set fires and cut off in several streets of Al-Houta city, expressing their rejection of the collapse of services, the high prices, and the decline of the local currency, as well as the spread of chaos, and the gang of robbery and crime.
This comes in light of the suffocation siege imposed by the coalition forces against the Yemeni people in the north and south, in all fields of life, including basic products such as oil and electricity, and the rise of food prices.
