Aden: Coalition recruits refuse to fight with Islah in Marib

ADEN, March 06 (YPA) – A number of Saudi-led coalition recruits in Lahj province, southern Yemen, refused to fight along with Islah militants in Marib, local sources said on Saturday.

According to the local sources, dozens of coalition soldiers launched a “sit-in”, in front of the 4th District Command in Aden, expressing their refusal to go to fight along with Islah militants in Marib.

The recruits denounced the disinformation operation that affected them from their military leadership after they were told that they are going to have training courses, however, they were surprised that they are going to be sent to fight in Marib, the sources explained.

On Friday, dozens of coalition recruits were killed in Marib province, in airstrikes launched by Saudi-led coalition aircraft  as they arrived as reinforcements to fight with Islah in the Al-Kasara front.
