Explosion strikes Israeli-owned ship in Gulf of Oman

SANAA, Feb.27 (YPA) –

An explosion has struck an Israeli-owned cargo ship sailing out in the Gulf of Oman on Thursday, the British Maritime Trade Operations Authority said On Friday.

The crew and vessel were safe, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations, which is run by the British navy.

The explosion forced the vessel to head to the nearest port.

The Hebrew channel “Kan” said that an explosion occurred in a British cargo ship owned by Israel in the Gulf of Oman without causing any injuries.
