SANAA, Feb. 22 (YPA) – Dozens of settlers on Monday stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the morning period of the daily incursions carried out by settlement groups under the protection of the enemy forces.
al-Quds sources reported that 89 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque squares, through groups, and amid tight security measures.
The sources pointed out that settlers began storming Al-Aqsa this morning at 7.30 am from the Mughrabi Gate, and wandered in the mosque’s squares and performed Talmudic rituals at the site.
During the incursions, the occupation forces evacuated the eastern region of the mosque from worshipers and stationers, in order to facilitate the storming of settlers.
The settlers’ incursions are part of the periodic tours they undertake, aiming to change the reality in the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Calls continue for all Muslims in the occupied Palestinian interior, the people of Jerusalem, and those who can reach Al-Aqsa from the West Bank, to intensify their journey towards the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and rebuild it with worshipers and stationers, in order to thwart the settlers’ plans.
