Interior Minister calls for doubling security efforts in Marib

SANAA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – Minister of Interior in the National Salvation Government, Major General Abdulkarim Amir al-Din al-Houthi, on Thursday directed the security bodies to redouble security efforts in the liberated areas in Marib province.

The minister’s directives come to keep pace with military victories with security victories represented in achieving security for citizens, protecting their lives and preserving their property.

During a meeting of the Interior Ministry leaders, the Minister of Interior also instructed the Central Security Forces, the Police Forces, and the Facilities Guard Department, to support the security directorate of Marib province by implementing a wide deployment in the province.

The Interior Minister stressed the importance of all security units and sectors of the Ministry of Interior to support the army and the popular committees in the liberation battle until purging Yemen of the invaders and their mercenaries completely.

Major General Abdulkarim Al-Houthi praised the role of sheikhs and tribesmen in Marib and Shabwa provinces in the battle of liberating Marib, affirming that victory is achieved through concerted efforts.
