Dollar exchange rate approaches 1,000 riyals barrier in southern provinces

SANAA, Feb.17 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate continued on Wednesday to decline significantly in the southern provinces, reaching 902 riyals per dollar in the provinces of Aden and Hadramout.

Meanwhile, the exchange rate of the Yemeni riyal in the capital, Sana’a, remained stable at 598 riyals per dollar.

As for the average exchange rate of the dollar on the black market in Sanaa, it reached 605 riyals.
