Head of oil company workers syndicate kidnapped in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 28 (YPA) – Head of the oil company employees syndicate in Yemen’s southern city of Aden, Yasser Al-Bayti, was kidnapped on Thursday.

According to media sources, unidentified gunmen opened fire on Al-Bayti’s car and took him to an unknown place.

The sources confirmed that the gunmen kidnapped Al-Bayti, after besieging him near a petrol station in Sirah area.

This came after the oil company’s trade union committee demanded the restoration of the company’s Caltex facility, considering that the ruling against the facility was unfair.
