Gunmen assault judge in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 24 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen assaulted on Sunday a judge in the Court of First Instance in the Saudi-led coalition-controlled areas of Taiz, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the gunmen attacked the judge “Ahmed Abdo Qasim” while he was on his way to work at the court.

The judge was severely beaten by the assailants, who looted some his papers and fled, the sources added.
Taiz city has witnessed dozens of attacks against judges and prosecutors.
