Cold weather’s effects continued within coming 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 20 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Wednesday that cold weather’s effects would be continued on most of the Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that the climatic cold effects would prevail over the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and Dhalea during the night and early morning.

It also expected that the weather might be cold in the high-altitude areas of Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah and Hadramout province.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, sick people, workers during the night and early morning hours, of the cold weather, calling on farmers, beekeepers and livestock herders to take the necessary precautions against cold shocks.
