TAIZ, Jan. 20 (YPA) – The town of Mocha, which is under the control of Tariq Saleh on Yemen’s west coast, witnessed violent clashes on Wednesday, leaving people dead and injured.
Local sources said that the clashes broke out in the vicinity of the residential city has been established by Tariq Saleh in the city
They pointed out that farmers tried to control a number of buildings but they failed as the UAE-backed militias confronted them and forced them to withdraw.
The farmers demanded compensations for their “looted” land, one of the sources said.
A year ago, the UAE-backed commander Tariq Salah launched his residential town in Mocka, on a large area belonging to farmers in the coastal city overlooking Bab al-Mandab.
The attack came on the eve of the announcement of the completion of the finishing of the city, which sources say was a compensation from his cousin Ahmed Ali, who took over the city of Saba, which belongs to Tariq and his brother in Abu Dhabi.
