Taiz witnesses violent confrontations among pro-coalition factions

TAIZ, Jan. 12 (YPA) – Violent confrontations broke out on Tuesday between the Saudi-led coalition factions in city of Taiz, southwest of Yemen, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the clashes erupted between the Saudi-backed Islah militants in Saina neighborhood for extending influence over the largest arena inside the city.

The Islah militants-held areas of Taiz have seen security chaos, assassinations, and ongoing violations of citizens ’rights.
