Coalition warplanes kill Mango farmers in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, May 24 (YPA) – At least six people, including a child, were killed and three others wounded in a Saudi-led airstrike on a mango farm in Bait al-Faqih district of Hodeidah province on Wednesday evening.

The coalition aircrafts hit the farm while workers were harvesting mango fruits in al-Miah area of Bait al-Faqih district, killing six workers and injuring three others, eyewitnesses told Yemeni Press Agency.

Searching is under way for missing people, who were among workers of the farm at the time of the raid, they added.

Earlier on Wednesday, the coalition warplanes waged a raid on al-Jabbana area of al-Hali district in the same province.
