China stresses comprehensive efforts to maintain nuclear deal

SANAA, Dec. 23 (YPA) – A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said his country is working to preserve and implement the nuclear deal

We are ready to work more closely with other stakeholders to resume the full and effective implementation of the nuclear deal with Iran and maintain peace and stability in the Middle East, Wang Wenbin sated during to the virtual meeting of foreign ministers of the member states of the nuclear deal yesterday.

He added that that “this meeting is a hypothetical meeting to review the current status and course of Iran’s nuclear program.”

The Chinese foreign minister presented to the meeting, with the aim of putting the nuclear agreement back on track, a four-point proposal that includes a tireless effort to support the nuclear deal, pressure the United States to quickly return to the nuclear deal and set a mechanism to resolve differences between the two sides on their commitments and address security issues in the region, the Chinese official said.
