NCM affirms continued cold weather within 24 hours

SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected the continuation of cold weather on most of Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather bulletin that the weather would focus on the mountainous areas of Saada, Jawf, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz, and Lahj province.

It affirmed light to medium rains that might be heavy at times in different parts of the western and southwestern highlands and the coasts of the provinces of Aden, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Mahra.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, and farmers during the night and early morning hours, of the cold wave in the aforementioned provinces and to take the necessary precautions.
