Yemeni riyal recovers partly against foreign currencies

SANAA, Dec.19 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rates on Saturday recorded light recovery after days of an unprecedented decline against foreign currencies that caused an economic disaster and a public outcry in the occupied provinces.

The Yemeni riyal exchange rate reached 800 riyals per dollar in the southern occupied provinces, while the riyal exchange rates in the capital, Sanaa, remained stable at 602 riyal per dollar.

The average exchange rate of the dollar on the black market in Sanaa reached 604 riyals.
