President holds UN responsible for legitimizing blockade on Yemen

SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, held the United Nations responsible for collusion and identification to legitimize the blockade imposed by the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen.

This came during his meeting on Wednesday with Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum to discuss the performance of the Ministry of Finance and its plan for the next year 2021.

He affirmed that the UN stances were negative, especially two years after the Sweden agreement, which was an opportunity to find a political and radical solution to alleviate the suffering of the State’s employees and pay their salaries if the United Nations assumed its responsibility to oblige the other party to fulfill its obligations.
