ADEN, Dec. 15 (YPA) – Dozens of students who got scholarships held on Tuesday a protest rally in front of the headquarters of the “Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research” in the exiled Hadi government” in Aden city, southern Yemen.
At the rally, the protesters raised banners rejecting a decision taken by higher education in the “Hadi government” to cancel the scholarships abroad.
The students demanded their equality with students on scholarships to various Arab and foreign countries, stressing that they would continue protests until all their legitimate demands were met.
The exiled Hadi government has canceled all scholarships that were disbursed to excellent students since May 2020.
