Explosion hits Zinjibar city of Abyan

ABYAN, Dec. 15 (YPA) – A huge explosion hit the Saudi-led coalition-held Zinjibar city of Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that unidentified gunmen threw a hand grenade nearby the headquarters of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in the city.

The explosion came after the leadership of the STC militia refused to withdraw from the “Central Security” camp, located in the city, and hand over the camp to the Islah militants, according to the “Riyadh Agreement.
