SANAA, DeThe U.S. Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit filed by Texas State Attorney Ken Paxto to nullify election results in the four swing states that Biden won.
The lawsuit submitted to the Supreme Court directly, demanding the annulment of the election results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, in which the preliminary results indicate that Joe Biden won, according to Reuters.
Donald Trump was pinning great hopes on this lawsuit, which was filed by the Attorney General in Texas, which some other states have joined, as Trump described it as a “big case.”
The Supreme Court ruling deals a heavy blow to Trump’s efforts to challenge the election results, which Biden won.
It is noteworthy that the administration of President Donald Trump has given the green light to launch the transfer of power, which assumes current federal officials’ consultations with the Biden team.
