NCM expects cold wave continues to Yemeni provinces

SANAA, Dec. 12 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected on Saturday the ongoing cold wave on most of the Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed that the wave would continue to affect mountainous governorates and parts of deserts and interior plateaus of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Dhaleae, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Marib, Jawf, Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda.

It warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, of the cold wave during the night and early morning hours, as well as to the necessary precautions against the severe wave, warning of a decrease in the lower temperatures.
