Yemen, UNDP affirm strengthening bilateral cooperation

SANAA, Dec. 9 (YPA) – Minister of Planning Abdulaziz al-Komaim stressed on Wednesday the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Yemen.

During his meeting with deputy regional director of the UNDP, Nahid Hussein, the two sides discussed issues and ways related to developing bilateral cooperation between Yemen and the UNDP, in a way that serves mutual interests.

In the meeting, the minister affirmed the government’s keenness to provide all facilities to enable the program to carry out its tasks in Yemen.

The two officials reviewed a number of projects being implemented and funded by the UNDP in Yemen and its agenda of future projects.
