Sanaa forces vow “unprecedented deterrence,” affirm readiness to strike enemy targets

SANAA, Sept. 26 (YPA) –  Sanaa Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi and Chief of General Staff Maj. Gen. Yusuf Hassan Al-Madani, have reaffirmed the readiness of the country’s military formations to confront any new escalation, stressing that ballistic missiles and drones are fully prepared to strike the enemy’s strategic bases and interests wherever they are.

In joint statements, the two leaders issued stern warnings to the Saudi-led coalition forces, saying any attempt to maintain the blockade, escalate the conflict, or cross red lines would face a harsh and unprecedented response.

They said Yemen’s future deterrence measures would directly target the decision-making centers of those forces.

The leaders also said alliances would not protect those who side with the enemy or attempt to prevent deterrent weapons from reaching their intended targets.

They rejected Saudi claims that Yemen had targeted holy sites, describing them as misleading fabrications and a failed attempt to turn public opinion against Yemen.

Addressing the fighters, the leaders reiterated that the armed forces would pursue every aggressor and occupier and remain committed to defending the country’s sovereignty.

They warned that any new reckless move would be met with decisive strikes reaching deep into enemy territory and directly targeting military and economic capabilities.
