MARIB, Nov. 19 (YPA) – The commander of the coalition’s Rapid Reaction forces was killed on Thursday during clashes on the outskirts of the northwestern city of Marib between Yemeni army forces and coalition forces.
Local sources in Marib province said that the coalition forces suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment, including military leaders, during failed attempts by coalition forces to march towards positions controlled by Yemeni army forces in The District of Raghwan and Madgul northwest of the city of Marib.
The sources said that Captain Suleiman al-Damani Nasser Ahmed Al-Salmi, commander of the “Rapid Reaction Forces” in the 7th Military Zone of the Hadi Government forces, was killed by army and popular committees during the fighting that took place on the outskirts of the districts of Raghwan and Medghal northwest of Marib city.
Two days ago, the coalition forces lost several military commanders, including high-ranking military commanders in the outskirts of Raghwan Front.
