NMC warns, advises residents of 8 Yemeni provinces from cold weather

SANAA, Oct. 19 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology warned on Monday residents of mountainous highlands in a number of governorates of the noticeable decrease in the lower temperatures, especially the elderly and children.

The center called on workers who go to their work during the night and early morning to wear winter clothes to prevent them from cold shocks.

The center also warned farmers, cattle and bee herders of the effects of the cold, in order to preserve their agricultural crops and livestock.
