Report: Army inflicts Saudi troop heavy losses over 24 hour
SANAA, May 17 (YPA) – The Yemen Army has launched military offensive operation on Saudi soldiers and militias sites and gatherings and shot down a spy plane over the 24 hours, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.
· In Najran Saudi border province:
The army repelled a large-scale infiltration of Saudi-backed militias in Adhiaq mountsrange, killing, wounding dozens and destroying a military vehicle.
Artillery shelling targeted sites of the militias in Boqea desert.
· In border province of Asir:
An unique offensive operation was waged on militias’ sites in Sood hills, killing and wounding many of militias.
Two of militias’ military vehicles were destroyed during the offensive in Sood hills.
· In West coast front of Taiz province:
An armored and a military vehicle, carrying a 50-caliber machine gun, belonging to the militias in the West Coast Front by guided missiles.
· In Saada province:
Yemeni air defenses shot down coalition’s spy plane in Munabeh border district.
· In Jawf province:
Five military vehicles were destroyed by explosive devices in Sabrain and Mahamisha fronts of Khub-washaaf district.
