SANAA, May 17 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center (NMC) forecast the movement of the tropical typhoon (Sagar) towards the west and south-west coast of Yemen at an altitude of 11 km / h in the next six hours.
In warning bulletin published on Thursday morning, the center said that the Typhoon would move together with dense, medium-to-heavy rains accompanied by winds of between 38 and 43 knots on the archipelago of Socotra, Al-Mahrah, Hadramaut, Shabwa, Abyan and Aden provinces.
The center warned citizens, captains of ships of all kinds, fishermen, and sea-goers of bad weather and sea disturbance, calling on them not to sail in the mentioned areas, an alarm of the flow of torrents in the reefs and valleys.
