Military commander loyal to Hadi killed in Marib

SANAA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – A high-ranking military commander loyal to Hadi’s forces in Marib was killed on Wednesday during clashes with Yemeni army forces in al-Jubah district of Marib province, local sources said.

This coincides with the advance made by the army forces in the last hours towards the area.

Hadi’s media reported the death of Colonel Salem Mossad al-Arifi, a leader in the 173rd Brigade and commander of Islah Front in Manaqal.

Al-Arifi’s death is part of the continuing bleeding of the leaders of the first-grade party of the Islah Party and further evidence that the party has already lost a battle with Marib as its field leaders continue to fall.
