Yemeni army foils infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militias in Najran

NAJRAN, May 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday repulsed an infiltration attempt of the Saudi-backed militias in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The militias tried to advance towards Adyq Mountains but failed to make any progress on the ground.

 Dozens of the Saudi-backed militias were killed and others injured during their attempt to advance in the area, the official said.

The army destroyed a military vehicle belonging to the militias in Najran province.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces of the army bombed position of the Saudi-led coalition in Boqe desert, causing deaths and injuries in the ranks of the militias.
