Senior military leader killed in Marib

MARIB, Sep. 11 (YPA) – A commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition forces was killed on Friday in confrontations in north of the city of Marib, according to sources.

The sources affirmed the prominent leader Nimran bin Saleh Aushan was killed during the confrontations that took place in Al-Alam front.

The sources explained that dozens of Islah militia were killed and wounded, including leaders, when the Yemeni army foiled an attack waged by the collation forces towards al-Wadi district.

“Fate of many officers and commanders of the coalition forces in the al-Alam Front has been unknown yet so far,” the sources said.

The coalition has been carrying out a military operation against the Yemeni people and its sovereignty since 2015, in a flagrant violation of the international law.
