Armed clashes erupt between Murad tribes, Al-Qaeda elements in Marib

MARIB, Sep. 11 (YPA) – Armed clashes have been erupted between Murad tribes and Salafi militants, including Al-Qaeda elements, in Marib province, source said on Friday.

According to the sources, the clashes came as a result of the gunmen erecting artillery near Abdul Ghani Bahibeh station in Al-Madria area.

Additional, Murad tribes were able to expel al-Qaeda and Salafist elements towards the city of Marib.

The sources indicated that those elements had created military sites between the Al-Jawba district and Al-Sadd in the city.
