SANAA, Sep. 7 (YPA) – Yemen’s former Prime Minister, Abdul Qadir Bajamal, died on Monday in the city of Dubai of the UAE, after suffering from illness for 12 years, as a result of an assassination attempt in Singapore in 2008.
On April 26, 2008, Bajammal was subjected to an assassination attempt while he was in Singapore to receive the “Champions of the Earth Award” provided by The United Nations Environment Programme.
The prominent southern politician, Abdul Qadir Bajamal, entered into a coma after the attempt to assassinate him in Singapore, due to his two successive strokes in heart and brain.
