Islahist leader assassinated in Aden by unknown gunmen

ADEN, Aug. 30 (YPA) – A leader affiliated with Islah party, (Yemeni branch of Muslims brotherhood) was killed in the southern port city of Aden, local sources said on Sunday.

According to the sources, unknown gunmen assassinated the well-known social figure Awad Fadaq in Mansoura district near the central prison in the directorate

The gunmen fled the scene, one of the sources said.

This murder was the latest in a series of assassinations targeting political figures, clerics and security officials in the UAE occupied city of Aden.

Aden and other southern provinces, under the control of the UAE occupation forces, have been witnessing mass assassinations amid the spread of terrorist groups of al-Qaeda and Daesh.
