UAE-backed militias cut off streets in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 27 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Shabwanian elite forces loyal to southern transitional council protested on Thursday in occupied Aden province.

The demonstrators cut off the main road in Sawlaban area of Khur Maksar district and burned cars’ wheels on roads, demanding their salaries be paid in arrears for six months, in addition to improving their living conditions in the camps.

The protests of the soldiers coincided with the arrival of an Emirati delegation to Aden city.
