Red Sea Ports Corporation warns of depletion of oil derivatives

Hodeidah, Aug 27 (YPA) – The Red Sea Ports Corporation announced on Wednesday that diesel that it necessary to operate Salif and Hodeidah ports equipment and machinery will soon run out.

In a distress call to the international community, the corporation warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in the event that the operational process of its ports stops.

In a statement, the corporation declared that port’s stock of fuel available to it in the tanks is about to run out, and it is afraid that it will not be able to continue providing humanitarian and relief ship reception services to the Yemeni people.

The statement also condemned coalition’s continued detention for oil derivative ships.

The Foundation issued an “urgent distress call to the international community to intervene urgently and exert pressure on enemy countries to quickly launch ships of oil derivatives and to allow them entry to the port of Hodeidah and to avoid a catastrophic humanitarian tragedy in Yemen.

The corporation renewed “the United Nations’ call, represented by its Secretary-General, its UN envoy and its humanitarian organizations, and the international community, especially the permanent members of the Security Council, to take serious and real action to lift the blockade on Yemen.

The Foundation also warned of the disastrous results of the escalation of the siege methodology and the slow death in recent periods to an unprecedented degree.
