Military tension between UAE-backed factions in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 25 (YPA) – Severe military tension broke out on Tuesday between the Emirati-funded “Giants Brigades” and “Tihama tribes men” in Mokha city, west of Taiz province, sources said.

The sources in the city said that militants of the “Giants Brigades” led by Haitham Qassem Taher, came to take over Najiba Square, which is under the control of Tihama tribesmen led by Nabil Murad, who refused to hand over the square to the Giants forces.

On the other hand, Tihama movement” announced the general mobilization against the forces of Tariq Afash (Giants forces), funded by the UAE, as part of alliances with the leadership of the Taiz axis belonging to Islah Party.

The sources emphasized that the ” Tihama movement” in Al-Khawkha area was making unprecedented preparations for declaring war against Tariq Afash ‘s factions in Mocha city.
