Clashes erupted between Islah militants, tribes in Marib

MARIB, Aug. 25 (YPA) – Fierce confrontations broke out on Tuesday between the Islah militants and tribes in Marib province, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that Islah party militias in the city of Marib launched a major attack against Al-Ghoneim tribe, one of Morad tribes, in Harib Marib.

The sources said that the so-called Special Forces, led by Mohammad Abu Shaalan, attacked Al-Ghoneim tribe, after they refused to have military checkpoints to avoid them in their areas war and destruction. The tribesmen destroyed Islah military vehicle and killed its crew during the clashes.
