Yemeni riyal records significant decline in southern provinces

SANAA, Aug. 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Thursday recorded significant decline in the southern provinces, influenced by the return of tension between the armed coalition factions in Abyan province, to reach 793 riyals per dollar in Aden, and 774 riyals in Hadramout province.

Meanwhile, the exchange rate of the Yemeni riyal continued to improve in the capital Sanaa, reaching 603 riyals per dollar.

The average price of the dollar on the black market reached 605 riyals, while the exchange rate of one dollar in the Central Bank in Sanaa remained stable at 250.50 riyals per dollar.
