SANAA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected more rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in a number of the Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.
The center affirmed in its weather forecast on Monday that the rainfall would focus on separate areas of the western mountain range, from Saada in the north to Taiz and Lahj in the south.
The center pointed out that rain might be extended to parts of the interior plateaus and the eastern and western coasts, accompanied by high-speed winds.
It also called for citizens and drives to take the necessary precautions against rock landslides in the mountainous areas and the decrease in the horizontal visibility due to dust and fog, especially in mountain roads.
The center warned ship captains, fishermen of strong winds and high waves in regional waters, Gulf of Aden, Socotra archipelago, and the southern and eastern coasts.
