Health Minister praises Oman, Iran’s medical aid provided to Yemeni people

SANAA, July 28 (YPA) – Health Minister Taha al-Mutawakil praised medical assistance provided by Sultanate of Oman, Islamic Republic of Iran to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its blockade on Yemen.

Al-Mutawakil the aid shipment, including modern health equipment, advanced artificial respiration devices, means of protection and medicines, arrived at the capital Sanaa, after being suspended their transportation from Oman to Yemen for three months due to the aggression siege.

The minister pointed out that the United Nations has renounced its duty to transport the shipment of medical aid in Oman for more than 3 months and to provide medical assistance to Yemen in combating Covid-19 pandemic.

Al-Mutawakil called on the Arab and Islamic countries and the free peoples to break the siege imposed by the aggression countries and enter the humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people, who suffers from the lack the necessary Oil derivatives to operate hospitals and health centers due to the aggression coalition’s rejection to enter the oil derivative ships.
