Military media releases video showing downing of Saudi attack helicopter near Najran front

SANAA, Oct. 18 (YPA) – Yemen’s Military Media, affiliated with the Sanaa forces, released video footage showing the moment a Saudi AH-6i helicopter was shot down by a locally developed surface-to-air missile near Najran.

Last night, Sanaa’s Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that a Saudi Apache attack helicopter had been shot down near Najran.

In a brief statement, Saree said the helicopter was brought down while carrying out hostile operations near the border, targeting positions held by Yemeni forces.

He added that the helicopter was downed using an appropriate weapon.
