Turkey to start trial of 20 Saudis accused of killing Khashoggi

ANKARA, July 1 (YPA) – Turkey will start next Friday the trial of 20 Saudis in absentia accused by the Turkish judiciary of killing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018 in Istanbul, Euro-News website reported Wednesday quoting Khashoggi’s fiancée, Khadija Genghis.

Public prosecutors in Turkey have indicted 20 Saudis, including two prominent former aides of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, at the conclusion of a more than a year investigation into the case.
