STC Activist: Armed uprising will take place next week in all southern provinces

ADEN, June 8 (YPA) – Ali al-Aslamy, a political activist loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) revealed an armed uprising against the Hadi government in all southern provinces.

In a tweet on Monday, al-Aslamy said: the tribes of Abyan, Shabwah and Hadhramaut  threatened and gave  the enemy two weeks to leave the provinces.”

Al-Aslamy stressed that all southern provinces are coming to an armed uprising that is difficult for those he described as the “enemies” to confront or suppress, referring to the Islah party.

He called on the Islah party to shorten the road for its militants and to leave guardianship over the southern provinces, which ended and will not return back.
