Military commander loyal to Tariq Afash’s forces killed in Abyan

ABYAN, May 24 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council STC was killed in the southern province of Abyan, military sources said on Sunday

The sources confirmed the killing of Hussein Manie al-Kholani, a commander of Tariq Afash’s forces in Sheikh Salem area, while fighting for the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia.

Tarik Afash’s forces joined the STC’s militias last week with an Emirati directive to confront al-Islah militants who trying to retake Abyan province.
