Yemeni parliament  condemns crime of targeting Presidential Office

 

SANAA, May 7 (YPA) – The Yemeni parliament condemned the terrorist crime committed by the Saudi-led coalition aggression on Sunday which targeted the Presidential Office in Tahrir Square of the capital Sanaa, which killed and wounded dozens of civilians.

In a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency, The Yemeni parliament  said the Saudi new massacre is one of a series of war crimes, including bombing the halls of mourning, weddings, commercial markets, public and private facilities and infrastructure, against humanity according to the international humanitarian laws and Geneva Conventions.

Parliament’s Speaker Yahya al-Ra’ei confirmed that these terrorist crimes will not weaken the morale of the Yemeni people, armed forces,  popular committees and the steadfastness of them, but increases them strength, determination and sacrifice in order to win their just cause.

The Yemeni parliament‘s members  held  the United Nations and its bodies and organizations, especially the Security Council,the legal and humanitarian responsibility in all crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition countries, taking no responsible positions towards the aggression and the crimes committed in front of the world.

They called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations and all international organizations, agencies, brotherly and friendly countries to pressure on  the coalition countries to stop its barbaric aggression against the Yemeni people and lift all-out blockade immediately.
