Seven military commander loyal to coalition killed in Marib

MARIB, April 18 (YPA) – Events on the ground have developed dramatically in Marib province over the past few hours.

Local sources in Marib told The Yemen Press Agency (YPA) that since Saturday morning, army forces and committees have been engaged in fierce battles, during which they were able to counter a major military advance by coalition forces in towards Kofel  camo in Sarwah district of Marib province.

The sources explained that the army forces and popular committees, penetrated towards the positions of Saudi-led coalition forces in the area of Fajr Asharh” in the outskirts of Sirwah.

Moreover, the sources confirmed that the clashes, which are still going on significantly, reached the bottom of the areas of the al-Alam.

Furthermore, the sources revealed that the coalition forces suffered heavy losses in equipment and lives of their military commanders.

According to the sources, at least seven military commanders loyal to Saudi-led coalition were killed during the confrontations with Yemeni army in Sirawh front.

Salem Saleh Masra’an Abu Assem

Saleh bin Ali Salem al-A’arda

Ghanem Mohsen Abu Sheib al-A’arda

Morsel Moqri Rabie al-Jahmi

Mohammed Ali al-Jamli

Abdullah Ali al-Ams al-Dawla

Abdulhaq Saleh al-Qatih al-Salahi
