SANAA, April 10 (YPA) – Yemeni army forces backed by popular committees were able to repel six infiltration attempts carried by Saudi-led coalition forces on various fronts that lasted from the early hours of Friday, Yemeni armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said on Friday.
The army spokesman explained that explained three infiltration attempts towards Ghaniya, al-Jarbat and Nati fronts in Bayda governorate were repelled.
He added that two other advancing attempts by the coalition forces were thwarted in Sirwah district of Marib province, and another one in Dhabab district of Taiz province.
Yahya Sare’e confirmed that the enemy suffered heavy losses in military equipment, in addition to dozens Saudi-led mercenaries were killed and wounded during their failed attempts to make progress on the ground.
