15 deportees enter Mahrah via Shahin crossing with Oman

MAHRAH, April 9 (YPA) – Informed sources confirmed on Wednesday, the entry of 15 Yemenis deported from Amman, through Shahin port in Mahrah province.

Sources at the border crossing with Oman announced suspension of work two days ago after a suspected case of the coronavirus was discovered for a foreign migrant hours after he entered the port.

This caused the closure of the port, in addition to  poor medical supplies and a lack of preventive measures.

Fears are growing that people living with Covid-19  will enter Yemen, as Saudi-led coalition forces controlling Yemeni ports being heavily tolerated.
