National Meteorological Center warns of bad weather

SANAA, April 4 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center on Saturday warned of torrential rain, sea disturbance and high temperatures in several areas of the country.

The Meteorological Center called on citizens in the areas where it is expected to rain not to be present in the bottoms of valleys and torrents of rain during the coming 24 hours.

In its air bulletin on Saturday, the Center warned vehicles’ drivers on mountain roads of low horizontal visibility, and fishermen and sea goers against the turbulence of the sea and high waves in the southern coasts, west of the Gulf of Aden, the western coasts and Bab al-Mandab due to wind activity.

Also, the Meteorological Center warned the desert provinces’ residents or those going to them of the rise in temperature, which may reach 38 degrees.

Meteorologists expected rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, sometimes in a number of provinces during the coming hours, noting to the continuation of unstable weather on parts of the chain of western and southwestern highlands and parts of the interior plateaus.
